Project Spotlight: The Good Will Fire Company
The autumn of 2003 saw Gorski Construction Co., Inc. constructing a new 19,000 square foot facility for the Good Will Fire Company. The multi-story building was designed to house Good Will's firefighting apparatus, as well as space for operations, support, dormitory and training requirements. After outgrowing the building they had occupied since 1885, the company forged ahead with bold plans to construct a new firehouse to better serve the community.
The new building was constructed on the existing footings of a former tank pad facility, thus reutilizing one of West Chester's most precious resources: land.
