Project Spotlight: Midwest Veterinary Supply, Inc.
When Minnesota-based Midwest Veterinary Supply, Inc. needed to put an addition on their 20,000 square foot Pennsylvania distribution center in Norristown, they were lead to Gorski Engineering's reputation as a creative and trustworthy builder that could provide the turn-key services the out-of-state owner required to navigate the complex land development process.

Perimeter Drain In-Progress Masonry Steel Structure
Gorski engineered the 2.5 acre site to receive the maximum building addition of 24,000 square feet, along with required parking and loading facilities. Impervious cover was kept to a minimum. A future parking area was designed and held in reserve.
Finished Interior Corner Detail Front Elevation
New and more stringent requirements for the control, management and quality of stormwater runoff required the installation of an underground management system below the paved surfaces. The stone and pipe system minimizes, slows and cleanses the stormwater that is released to the downstream collection system.
Interior Corner Precast Loading Ramp
The new addition, directly adjacent to the existing building, was designed so as not to put any additional snow loading on the existing steel structure. The facade of the masonry and steel structure was laid out to match the intricate existing features. Despite a wet spring start, the project was completed in less than five months.
